CLASS/WORKSHOP POLICIES:

If a drop in pass is purchased (Pregnancy /Mum&Baby Yoga) it must be used within the associated four week block or in the case of a online class- for the date booked.

COVID 19 Changes- Due to the ever changing nature of the COVID 19 Pandemic, some classes may have to be altered. As much notice as possible will be given in these circumstances.

Babies at Workshops: For workshops like Baby Weaning it’s not a problem if you need to bring your baby along, however for the majority of Workshops we’ve found that more information is taken in by all participants when Parents can attend without their little ones. Please contact us at hello@bumpbabyandme.ie if you have any queries regarding this.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please note there is a cancellation policy of six hours for all classes (in person and online). If you need to cancel your place, please email hello@bumpbabyandme.ie

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR & BRING TO CLASS?

  • Pregnancy Yoga classes:  As there is a lot of movement during the class it is best to wear comfortable clothing. You will need a yoga mat and cushion.  It’s important to stay hydrated so bring along a bottle of water and a pair of cosy socks in cooler weather to keep warm during relaxation.

  • Mum and Baby Yoga classes: You’ll need a yoga mat to and a blanket for your baby. It’s a good idea to wear something you are both comfortable in, that will allow stretching and movement. It’s important to stay hydrated so bring along a bottle of water.

  • Baby Massage classes: Cushions are provided for you to sit on and you will receive a bottle of organic massage oil and a baby massage manual. You should bring a yoga mat for you and a blanket for your baby to lie on and anything else they might need.

  • MumFit classes: It’s best to wear runners and light clothing, as you will be doing a lot of movement and quite a bit of sweating too! Bring along a small towel and a bottle of water.  If you’re bringing your baby in their carseat/ buggy, bring whatever they might need also.

WHAT SHOULD MY BABY WEAR?

  • Your baby can wear anything you like but a simple baby grow may be easier for you to take on and off.

  • It is a good idea to bring your nappy bag, blanket and a small towel/ change of clothes for your baby too.

WHEN CAN I START?

  • As your body is undergoing so much change in the first few months, we recommend that you wait to start pregnancy yoga until you are 12/13 weeks pregnant. From then on you can practice right up until you have your baby.

  • Mums can attend Mum & Baby postnatal yoga and MumFit after their postnatal check-up (generally 6 weeks post vaginal birth /12 weeks post caesarean birth). Most feel comfortable joining these classes from about 2- 3 months post natal up until their baby is at pre-crawling stage. MumFit is suitable for babies up to 12 months of age as long as they are happy to stay in their buggy.

  • Baby massage is suitable for all babies from birth to crawling. However many parents find it better to wait until their baby is between 4 to 6 weeks old and upwards. At that stage they have greater periods of contented wakefulness and are more open to being massaged.
